Fortree City held little of interest, but she had been getting antsy in Lilycove. She needed to stretch her legs and return to her previous nomad habits to better clear her thoughts. It felt odd to traverse Hoenn with the knowledge that she could not touch Dewford at all. She struggled against the opposing urges to skirt the edges of it and stay on the farthest ends of Hoenn. Regardless of the choice, it gravitated around home. The feeling left her reeling even as she tried to walk away from her own negative thoughts.

Something alerted her to the Zangoose before the rest of her senses. She ducked low to avoid its high swipe as it dove at her. It landed on the other side of her but Blacephalon was already on the intruder. It used hypnosis to hold the Zangoose in place. She looked at her ultra beast for a long moment, thinking. But Blacephalon was largely destructive, and she didn't want to leave a giant crater in her place. "Let's just leave it," she proposed.

It was a white blur. [break][break]

The take down pushed Blacephalon to the ground, hard. "We'll keep this one," she decided. Blacephalon knew better than to blow it up. At least, now it did. It waved a hand to incinerate, forcing the canine to yelp. It tried baby doll eyes but Blacephalon generated a light screen to function like sunglasses in the daytime: it obscured the visuals. Furfrou growled unhappily, but while it was figuring out a new strategy, Robin tossed a pokeball.
